Product Manager

We are seeking a Product Manager to align our technical roadmap with business and marketing objectives, serving as the critical link between our Engineering and Marketing teams. In this role, you will collaborate with key stakeholders to define product strategy, drive market positioning, and manage the full lifecycle of our electronic product portfolio. This is a high-impact position ideal for a data-driven professional who excels at bringing innovative products to market.

Job Duties include:

  • Partner with stakeholders to align product strategy, leverage market trends, gather competitive data, and develop sales metrics to identify growth opportunities and optimize portfolio performance.
  • Partner with Engineering to draft detailed Market Requirements Documents (MRDs) and transform raw product concepts into concrete roadmaps.
  • Serve as a core member of New Product Introduction (NPI) team, driving cross-functional alignment from initial design to product launch.
  • Author and maintain technical datasheets, pricing/positioning models, product research database, and customer-facing launch material.
  • Synchronize launch efforts across specialized teams, including Marcom, Website Design, Purchasing, Package Development, and Market Research.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Technical Marketing, or a related technical discipline (equivalent practical experience considered).
  • 3+ years of dedicated Product Management experience specifically within an electronics manufacturing or hardware product environment.
  • Ability to converse deeply with hardware engineers while simultaneously translating features into business benefits for B2B buyers.
  • Strong collaborative mindset, adaptability to operational direction, punctual execution, and excellent cross-functional communication skills.

Customer Technical Support Specialist

The Customer Technical Support Specialist is responsible for replicating, troubleshooting, and resolving complex hardware, firmware, and application-level issues ensuring reliable product performance and a high level of customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate combines strong hands-on hardware debugging expertise, advanced troubleshooting skills, and a passion for solving technical challenges.

Job Duties include:

  • Take ownership of customer support cases from initial report through to resolution, maintaining meticulous documentation of troubleshooting steps, investigation findings, and client communications in the CRM system
  • Perform hands-on component-level testing, diagnostic analysis, and debugging using test equipment, including oscilloscopes, multimeters, and programmable power supplies
  • Diagnose and resolve complex issues related to embedded firmware, OS environments (Windows/Linux), and hardware-interoperability
  • Investigate and analyze compatibility issues between VersaLogic hardware and various third-party peripherals, hardware, and software solutions
  • Utilize schematics to diagnose and repair customer returned product
  • Proactively meet and exceed Customer Support Service Level Agreements (SLAs) including response and resolution expectations
  • Work cross-functionally with engineering and manufacturing teams to identify trends, report bugs, and improve product reliability

Qualifications:

  • Education: High School Diploma/GED required. Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Electronics or Computer Science preferred
  • Experience: 6+ years of hands-on experience in technical support, focusing on hardware and software troubleshooting

Technical Skills:

  • Deep knowledge of x86 architecture, ISA bus, PCI bus, and USB architectures
  • Strong competence in troubleshooting Linux and Windows operating systems
  • Proficiency in programming/scripting (C, Python, Linux shell scripting)
  • Ability to use laboratory test equipment (Oscilloscopes, Multimeters, Power Supplies)

Manufacturing Knowledge:

  • Familiarity with manufacturing-based processes and RMA procedures
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical users
  • Ability to create, update, and maintain technical procedures and documentation
