Material Handler – Electronic Components

This position is responsible for storing and picking electronic components and assemblies within the warehouse.

Job Duties include:

  • Pick and put away kits and packages of components and assemblies
  • Carry out cycle count program to insure inventory integrity
  • Maintain viability of moisture sensitive devices using the MSD Internal Handling Procedure
  • Monitor supplies, consumables and box counts and notify Supply Chain when reorder is necessary
  • Maintain punctual, regular and predictable attendance
  • Work collaboratively in a team environment with a spirit of cooperation
  • Other duties as assigned

Education and Experience:

Required

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Familiarity with warehousing processes
  • Background in electronics industry
  • Strong attention to detail

Preferred

  • Some secondary education
  • Experience in a similar position
  • Knowledge of MS Office applications (Word, Excel, etc.)

Customer Technical Support Specialist

The Customer Technical Support Specialist plays a key role in handling VersaLogic’s inbound support requests. This includes working with internal and external customers to troubleshoot and replicate problems and resolving technical support issues.

Job Duties include:

  • Manage assigned customer support cases to resolution and/or escalation and accurately record activities in CRM
  • Support and troubleshoot application-related OS and firmware issues, customer related hardware issues, and customer related interoperability issues
  • Interface with customers as necessary during RMA’s and support cases to resolve issues
  • Duplicate, debug, develop, document and communicate solutions to customer reported problems
  • Meet all aspects of customer support Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
  • Work collaboratively in a team environment with a spirit of cooperation
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Education and Experience:

Required

  • High School Diploma / GED required
  • Associate’s Degree in Computer Science or Engineering; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 2-5 years troubleshooting hardware and software issues
  • Familiarity with manufacturing-based processes
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills

Preferred

  • Aptitude for maintaining a customer-centric perspective while troubleshooting and/or analyzing user issues
  • High degree of applications knowledge (MS Word, Excel, etc.)
  • Understanding of multiple operating systems and development environments including Windows and Linux
  • Knowledge of x86 based PC hardware systems including ISA bus, PCI bus and USB
  • Knowledge of programming languages including C, Python, and Linux shell scripting
  • Ability to use lab test equipment such as Oscilloscopes, Multi-Meters, and Programmable Power Supplies to troubleshoot issues

Information Systems Manager

This position involves leading a small team of IS professionals to maintain and expand VersaLogic’s technology infrastructure. Tasks include the management of IS projects, oversight of network systems, cloud services, disaster recovery, and cyber-security.

Education and Experience:

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Science or equivalent business-related field
  • 8+ years of experience planning, managing, and successfully implementing IT projects of various scope and technical complexity in a small to mid-sized company
  • 3 years of experience managing IS/IT staff
  • Experience with ERP systems in a manufacturing environment
  • Managing on-premises corporate systems including Microsoft Windows Server and Desktop, VMware / ESXi, SQL Server, Microsoft Exchange Server and Linux computing platforms

Preferred

  • Familiarity with NIST 800‐171 and CMMC cybersecurity framework
  • Master’s Degree in Computer Science
  • ITIL certification
  • PMP certification
