Description

The VL-M2e-U3E is a rugged, extended-temperature M.2 expansion module designed to provide reliable serial connectivity and general-purpose digital I/O for embedded and industrial applications. Featuring two independently configurable RS-232, RS-422, or RS-485 serial ports and twelve GPIO lines, this module is ideal for system expansion in space-constrained embedded systems.

The U3 is specifically designed and tested for full industrial temperature operation, operating from -40° to +85°C. It also meets MIL-STD-202H specifications for shock and vibration. The U3 features latching connectors to prevent cable detachment issues in high-vibration environments.

VersaLogic’s 10+ year product life support programs ensure long-term availability. This avoids the expensive upgrades and migrations often resulting from short lifecycle products.
