Press Office, VersaLogic Corporation, 09/15/21
Military Embedded Systems announced the winners of their “Best in Show” awards at this year’s AUVSI XPONENTIAL conference in Atlanta, Georgia. The contest winners are drawn from exhibitors of the event and are recognized for the improved performance and innovation they bring to military unmanned systems applications.
The Sabertooth is a high performance embedded computer in a compact package (90 x 96 x 42.9 mm). It features a Xeon-E or 9th Generation Intel® Core™ processor, 3-Bank Type 1 expansion port, and error-correcting memory. The processor board includes fast / high capacity NVMe SSD storage, TPM 2.0 security, and up to 32 GB ECC RAM.

Sabertooth’s high performance and rugged capabilities make it ideal for unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and military applications that require data to be kept locally for security, communication bandwidth, and latency reasons. It is designed and tested for full industrial temperature (-40° to +85°C) operation and meets MIL-STD-202H specifications for shock and vibration. It uses latching connectors to address cable detachment issues in hostile environments.
AUVSI’s XPONENTIAL conference is an annual trade show that brings together industry leaders in the unmanned technology sector. AUVSI (Association for Unmanned Vehicle Systems International) is the world’s largest nonprofit organization dedicated to the advancement of unmanned systems, robotics and autonomy.
